The “Karl-Marx-Allee Nord” neighborhood is located in the Mitte district and is bordered by Mollstraße, Otto-Braun-Straße, Karl-Marx-Allee, Weydemeyerstraße and Lichtenberger Straße . The area includes two playgrounds, several open spaces and borders the Schillingstraße subway station. The Mitte town hall and citizens’ office are also located in the neighborhood. The Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg district is adjacent to the north and east. This neighborhood is being examined for the need for traffic calming and its suitability as a neighborhood block.
