The “Brunnenstraße West” neighborhood is located in the Gesundbrunnen district and is bordered by Gartenstraße, Bernauer Straße, Brunnenstraße, Gustav-Meyer-Allee and Scheringstraße. To the north is the Humboldthain Technology Park and the Volkspark Humboldthain borders the neighborhood. The subway stations Voltastraße and Bernauer Straße are located on the borders of the neighborhood. This neighborhood is being examined with regard to the need for traffic calming and its suitability as a neighborhood block.
