The “Arkonaplatz” neighborhood is located in the Mitte district and is bordered by Bernauer Strasse, Brunnenstrasse, Veteranenstrasse, Fehrbelliner Strasse, Kastanienallee and Schwedter Strasse. Arkona- and Zionskirchplatz are located in this neighborhood. The Bernauer Straße subway station is located on the north-western border of the neighborhood. The district of Pankow adjoins to the north-east. This neighborhood was decided upon as the “Kastanienkiez” in the BVV.
