Following public engagement and a technical review, this Kiez was not selected, for the time being, for the implementation of a Kiezblock in 2026.
The “Gartenstraßenkiez” is located in the Mitte district and is bordered by Chausseestraße, Torstraße, Brunnenstraße and Invalidenstraße. The Heinrich Zille Park and Plansche am Nordbahnhof are located in this neighborhood. Here, for example, there is the Gartenstraße cycle lane and a modal filter on Gartenstraße at the junction with Tieckstraße and Schröderstraße. This neighborhood block was decided in the BVV.
