The “Lehrter Straße” neighborhood is located in the Moabit district and is bordered by Heidestraße, Minna-Cauer-Straße, Invalidenstraße, Rathenower Straße and Perleberger Straße. There are various sports facilities in the neighborhood, including the Poststadion, Fritz-Schloss-Park and the former Moabit cell prison history park. The district is divided from north to south by the railroad line. The main train station is located in the south of the neighborhood and bus lines run along Lehrter Strasse. This neighborhood is being examined with regard to the need for traffic calming and its suitability as a neighborhood block.
